Worldwide publicity for Wien-Margareten in the brand-new Lonely Planet City Guide Vienna

All over the world, travellers inform themselves about their destinations using Lonely Planet's City Guides. So the one-page editorial report on Wien-Margareten, based around the crime novel "Schön Tot" which was published last year, will certainly draw a lot of attention to this up-and-coming neighbourhood in Vienna. The novel was written by one of Austria's most famous crime authors, Edith Kneifl, (or, as Lonely Planet calls her, "Austria's Queen of Crime"), and is set at real locations in Wien-Margareten, in real shops and restaurants, with their owners and managers featuring as supporting characters. The suspenseful novel makes for great entertainment, while also offering a lot of information about the district, publicising the area's commercial offerings. Even the Sunday edition of Austria's largest daily newspaper, Kronen Zeitung, featured a piece on the Lonely Planet Vienna City Guide. The novel "Schön Tot" is now in its third edition, and has become one of Austria's most successful cirme thrillers.
